The second of December 1971 will always remain a shining day for the government, the people of the UAE and the whole Muslim Ummah as it shines, sparkles and illuminates other days of the year. I am so grateful for the leadership of UAE, 43 years of well management, leadership and ambition. I take this opportunity to congratulate all the citizens of the UAE who have jointly taken a good journey in developing their country to where it is standing now. I wish them well and may Allah bless them all. It's a fitting opportunity before every UAE citizen for exercise self-introspection and review of what he has done towards his homeland and community.
On behalf of Al Ghurair Giga I appeal to the people of the UAE to make the second December as a special and historic day by working hard to accomplish more magnificent humanitarian and civilizational achievements. The UAE leadership under His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE, who had made every possible effort to bring about happiness to the citizens by building vital health and educational infrastructures and securing decent living to them in every corner of the beloved country.
Al Ghurair Giga would like to extend its sincere wishes and prayers to the brotherly country that is a home to more than 200 nationalities from all cultures and communities, a country where people come to make their dreams come true, and do. The Spirit of Union is derived from the vision and leadership of His Royal Highness Late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al Nahyan, and is maintained today through His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE and the fellow leaders of the emirates who countinue to shape the UAE's future.
It is the spirit that binds the cosmopolitan community of the UAE, connecting us under one banner, one flag, but with many voices. This spirit needs to be celebrated and shared by all citizens and residents of the United Arab Emirates. National day is about celebrating and sharing this spirit, as it has existed in the past and looking towards the future. We appeal to the youngsters to live up to expectations of their leadership and toil faithfully to push the federation march forward. Achievements and results the UAE has made locally, regionally and internationally are compelling proof of the sound policy and deep vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai which judiciously mobilised resources and energies to serve national interest, achieve progress, prosperity and maintain security, peace and stability.
Employment of science and knowledge serve targets of sustainable development is the best way to help UAE reach the qualitative production which does not primarily rely on oil to generate income. Some poor natural resources countries have made unprecedented international excellence in economy and growth rates where the knowledge based economy has become one of the key drivers of economic development in our modern time. The achievements made by the UAE which were launched by the maker of the founding father of the UAE, are still going on, adding more love and deep respect of the UAE people for the beacon of development His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE and his fellow Rulers of Emirates.
