ISE index falls by 81.33 points

Bears retuned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday, where losers outclassed gainers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 81.33 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,931.30 to 3,849.97 points. The overall turnover amounted to 253,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 196,489 shares.
Total 151 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (52) closed in negative territory, 99 closed in positive territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Maple Leaf Cement was 105,000 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 75,000 shares. The volume of PIA was 65,000 shares.
