ISE index surges by 85.78 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Tuesday, where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 85.78 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,849.97 to 3,935.75 points. The overall turnover amounted to 129,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 253,000 shares.
Total 156 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (109) closed in positive territory, 47 closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of PIA was 100,000 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 20,000 shares. The volume of Lottee Chemical Pakistan was 5,000 shares.
