Apropos 'The diamond jewellery set no one can own' carried by Business Recorder on Thursday, the writer seems to have brushed aside the clarification issued by Asif Ali Zardari's spokesperson Farhatullah Babar who had stated that Zardari House had nothing to do with the jewellery set. In order to counter his statement the writer has raised a profound question: "Didn't the PPP Co-Chairman deny ownership of the Surrey Palace at one point only to assert proprietary rights at an opportune moment?" This question leads to another very important question: "Is the PPP leadership waiting for an opportune moment to revisit or revise its strategy with regard to the diamond jewellery set issue?
