Responding to Altaf Hussain's demand to hold inquiry into Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's "threatening statement", Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that Pakistan People's Party would not give any clarification to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement. In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Memon claimed that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari didn't give threatening statement but everything the PPP chairman said was the truth.
"Whatever Bilawal had said was true," said Sharjeel Memon. He said that Altaf Hussain had every right to move to courts. "If Altaf goes to the court, the PPP will also go to British courts with proofs," said Sharjeel Memon. "If Altaf Hussain wants to go to the court against the PPP chairman than he can fulfil his wish," he said.
The PPP would move British court with evidences against MQM supremo Altaf Husain, threatened the Sindh Information Minister. Addressing the PPP foundation day ceremony in Lahore, PPP leader Jahangir Badar said that all political leaders, including Altaf Hussain, should learn to respect the leaders of other parties.
Earlier, MQM chief Altaf Hussain demanded an inquiry regarding "threatening statement" given by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on October 6, 2014. In a statement issued here, Altaf Hussain urged the government, heads of law- enforcement agencies, former president Asif Ali Zardari, former interior minister Rehman Malik, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad to hold the inquiry within 15 days else he would seek legal and constitutional remedy from the court.
On the occasion of Eidul Azha, Bilawal said: "Uncle Altaf! Hold your unknown people. If any harm comes to my workers, then I will make your life hell let alone the London police." Altaf Hussain said: "I would ask PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and the Central Executive Committee of the PPP to inform me as to what harm had come to their workers as Bilawal Bhutto Zardari claimed on 6th October. Why did he accuse me?"
He said if PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and the PPP Central Executive Committee could not give answers to my questions within 15 days, he would direct his legal and constitutional experts to seek legal action against the threatening statement given by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
