Two persons were killed and eight others injured in separate incidents here on Wednesday. According to details, two motorcyclists opened fire on a youngster sitting at roadside of Qazi Khokhar bridge within limits of Pharpur police station killing him on the spot.
Police reached at the site, cordoned off the area and started investigation. In another incident, one person was killed and eight others injured as Tractor-trolley overturned at Kot Jai area of Pharpur Tehsil. The incident took place when tractor went out of control and its trolley turned turtle, leaving one killed and eight injured who were shifted to a nearby hospital.
