A special function was arranged in honour of students of second year of Ameer Uddin Medical College for getting first position in the province by obtaining 99 percent marks in the first professional examination of medical colleges in Punjab. Advisor on Health Kh Salman Rafiq presided over the function.
In his initial remarks, Principal of the College Professor Anjum Habib Vohra congratulated faculty and students of the college for securing prominent position in the medical education in a short period and requested Advisor Health for taking early steps for providing buses to the students and constructing a separate building for the college. While addressing the function, Kh Salman Rafiq said that hard work never goes waste and talented students are bright future of the country. He assured for taking early steps for construction of a separate building and provision of buses for students.
