Lack of buying interest pushed the prices most of the commodity items on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab went down by Rs 125 to Rs 11875 and Moong Afghan also shed the same amount to Rs 20125, similarly, Barley Sindh and Mardan both tended lower by Rs 100 to Rs 4900-5000, Gur low type fell by Rs 300 to Rs 4900 and the best quality lost Rs 500 due to easy supply and slow demand, other commodities, somehow, managed to retain week-end levels, they said. Rates were unmoved on the rice and grams sectors, they said.
