Ambassador of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Ermolovic has said that Belarus wants to develop better trade ties with Pakistan besides stressing the need of making all-out efforts in this regard. He stated this while addressing the members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here on Thursday. "Embassy of Belarus has been established in Islamabad and it would start issuing all sorts of visas within two months," he added.
He said that soon SCCI delegation would be invited to visit Belarus which will help in developing close contacts with the business community of Belarus. The envoy disclosed that every year 100 million tones of European cargoes was transported via Belarus while 90 percent of the cargoes was transported between Russia and European Union and transit of goods via Belarus is fast and secure. President SCCI Fazal Jilani while addressing the gathering has said that it is important to undertake activities like exchange of trade delegations and organising exhibitions to enhance trade relations between both the countries.
