Japanese delegates call on PU AVC

A Japanese delegation headed by Sumitomo Corporation Asia & Oceania Pakistan General Manager Yukio Sakai called on PU Acting Vice Chancellor (AVC) Professor Dr Ehsan Malik at VC office here on Thursday. PU Registrar Professor Dr Liaqat Ali, Additional Registrar Dr Kamran Abid and other officials were also present on the occasion. They discussed various issues of mutual interest and stressed upon the need to enhance academic collaboration.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sumitomo Corporation is providing 20 scholarships worth $300 per year to each student from IBA, Institute of Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and Department of Economics since 1996.
