ICE Canadian spot canola futures rose to the highest level in a month on Friday on buying by speculators and commercials, coupled with a softer Canadian dollar, traders said. A weaker Canadian currency makes canola more attractive to those holding other currencies. Producer sales of canola remained slow, lending further support. Canadian canola crushers processed 8.7 percent more canola in the week ended December 10 than the previous week, according to data from the Canadian Oilseed Processors Association.
