The maximum price of the top grade Kenyan tea, Best Broken Pekoe Ones (BP1s), fell at this week's auction, Africa Tea Brokers (ATB) said in a report on Wednesday. Producers offered 10.05 million kg of tea for sale during the auction, and 20.66 percent of it remained unsold, ATB said. Kenya is the world's leading exporter of black tea and the crop is a key foreign exchange earner for the economy.
