Government paid Rs 731.83 million to the heirs of martyrs

Ministry of State and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) said that the government has paid a total of Rs 731.839 million to the legal heirs of martyred and injured people in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). Talking to media here on Tuesday, a senior official of Ministry of SAFRON said that during the last two years 978 persons were martyred and 1345 were seriously injured due to terrorist acts in FATA. He said the government is compensating the affected families of terrorism as per approved policy.
