Three people were killed and three others injured in separate incidents of violence here on Thursday. According to police and rescue sources, a man identified as Hayat-ur-Rehman, son of Khizar, was gunned down by unidentified men in Musharaf Colony, in the limits of Mochko police station. The victim was said to be hailing from Afghanistan. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for post-mortem examination.
Similarly, a 40-year-old Syed Hussain Shah, son of Syed Amjad Hussain, was shot dead by unidentified man near Maqboolabad, located in Bahadurabad Block No-3 in the limits of New Town police station. The body was shifted to CHK for autopsy. In another case, a bullet-riddled body was found from Mewa Shah Graveyard in the jurisdiction of Pak Colony police station. Police said that the body bore several bullet marks. The identification of the deceased was yet to be ascertained till filing of this report. However police suspects that the victim appears to be Baloachi speaking. The body was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, a 12-year -old Abu Bakar, son of Abdul Samad, and 18-year-old Imran, son of Umer, were shot and injured by unknown men in the same incident near Jumma Goth, located in the limits of Alflah police station. The injured were moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment. Police said that the incident occurred on Wednesday.
A man Dodoh, 25, son of Usman was injured by unknown armed robbers while offering resistance during a robbery bid near Saleem Centre North Karachi, in the jurisdiction of Sir Syed police station. The victim was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.
