Brigadier Zahid Hussain's (Retd) efforts brought a steep increase in the registration from 68 percent to 95 percent (total registration of 90 million people) at Nadra. He served as DG Sindh, DG Punjab, and for short period of time Chairman Nadra in 2013. Now he is serving as DG Sindh during a very sensitive period.
