Peshawar tragedy: PML-Q delegation calls on KP chief minister to express condolence
A delegation led by PML-Q Chaudhry Pervez Elahi called on KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak here on Friday at CM House to express condolence and solidarity with the provincial government and people over the Army Public School terror attack. Elahi was accompanied by PML-Q Punjab Chief Organiser Raja Basharat, Tariq Bashir Cheema MNA, central vice president Ajmal Wazir and provincial president KP Intikhab Khan Chamkani.
Provincial Minister for Information Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani and Secretary Information Mohammad Israr Khan were also present on the occasion. The delegation while strongly condemning the Peshawar tragedy said that it was very inhuman terrorism, which united the whole nation, government, political and military leadership in the country against terrorism.
On this occasion, Fateha was also offered for the eternal peace of the departed souls. They also prayed for the patience of the bereaved parents and families for bearing the loss with fortitude. Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and other members of the delegation expressed satisfaction over measures taken for guaranteeing security and law and order and establishment of an independent and powerful force to restore peace.
Both parties also agreed that security and law and order should be made top priority both at provincial and federal levels and besides, provision of suitable funds comprehensive policy should also formed for terror combat and intelligence sharing. Similarly, they also stressed need for initiate national campaign to create awareness in the people for strict monitoring of terrorists and sabotaging elements and informing authorities of their activities.
