KP Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has said that the martyred principal of Army Public School Tahira Qazi deserves a national award to acknowledge her brave struggle to protect the students while head on confronting terrorists attack at the school and he will make personal efforts for making this possible.
"The way she contacted rapid response force, ambulance service etc in a critical state of circumstances was exemplary and she really contributed her services like a real mother of school children," he said this after offering Fateha at her residence Landi Arbab, the native suburban village of the bereaved family on Friday.
The Governor expressed sympathies with her husband Colonel Zafarullah Qazi (Retd) and the other members of the bereaved family on this occasion. Meanwhile, responding to questions of media Governor said, "This tragic incident has led to unite the entire nation. Now we as a nation have fully accepted ownership of the war on terrorism and the immortal sacrifices of the students will never go in vain." Governor further said that both Afghanistan and Pakistan have been suffering from untoward circumstances for many years and both are now fully committed to eradicate terrorism for complete peace and stability through their joint struggle.
