Mepco completes 29 low tension schemes

The Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) has completed 29 low tension (LT) schemes to ensure timely provision of electricity connections, Mepco officials said. The World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Mepco provided development funds amounting to Rs 20.4 million for the schemes.
The LT schemes have been completed in Mepco Multan circles areas including Basti Rangpur, RAM Kali, Chah Karim Bukshwala, Moza Kotheywala, Basti Mondereywala, Tiba Masudpur, Chah Kakarwala, Basti Pir Mohan Shah, Jhok Balo, Chah Baghwala Sher, Chak No 168/WB Gujran and Chak 168/WB Jehania.
