Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) Peshawar, in collaboration with the Bank of Khyber, organised an awareness workshop regarding interest-free loan facility for youth in the province. Head of BoK loan schemes, Afnan Sethi while speaking during the training session, informed that application process had been started for provision of interest-free loans for male and female youth, to initiate businesses on self-basis.
He further said the male and female, aged from 18-30, would taken benefit from the loan facility, with compulsion of having skilled training certificate. On the occasion, WCCI Peshawar Vice Presidents Nisar Lugmani and Iqbal Bano along with members of the chamber also present.
Sethi said about 32 percent quota for women and two percent quota for youth had been allocated in the special loan scheme. Nasira Lugmani and Iqbal Bano on the occasion demanded the government to give age-relaxation for women in the loan under the scheme in order to take maximum benefit.
