To evaluate and assess the security arrangements during forth coming Christmas-2014, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Hyderabad Range convened consecutive meetings on 23rd & 24th December-2014 with both SSPs of Hyderabad and prominent of Christian Communities leading amongst them were Bishop Max Rodrics of Catholic and Rev Kaleem John of protestant.
The participants were assured to provide adequate & extra security at all 71 Churches and Worship places during the event within available resources. They will also be provided the number of Range Control Room and focal person for brisk co-ordination. However, nothing specific security concerns were raised by the participants of the meeting. On other hand, all SSPs of Hyderabad were directed to augment and sensitise the security arrangements by maintaining close and continuous co-ordination with Christian Community. Moreover, they were asked to revamp their DIBs in consultation with other sister agencies for the smooth and peaceful completion of the event. In addition, SSPs were further directed to review security arrangements at foreign companies, installations, outlets and working personnel at different projects in order to maintain law and order situation.
