Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) Central President Sadiq Khan Khakwani on Friday announcing new office-bearers for Punjab has appointed Khurshid Khan Kanjoo as President and Arsalan Khan Khakwani as General Secretary. The newly appointed office bearers took oath of their offices at a simple ceremony held today while KBP Central Secretary General Malik Muhammad Rohari administered oath to them.
According to KBP Central Secretary Information Haji Muhammad Ramzan the new KBP Punjab President Khurshid Khan Kanjoo is a progressive farmer from Multan.
He also runs agro-based industry while Arslan Khan Khakwani is associated with farming after acquiring higher education from US.
Speaking on this occasion, the newly appointed Punjab office bearers accused the rulers and industrialist of committing injustices with the growers.
They said that they had chalked out an action plan to end these injustices and growers of cotton and sugarcane would soon have relief.
