Vietnam's coffee exports in December are expected to rise 42.8 percent from last month to 120,000 tonnes, or 2 million bags, the government said on Saturday, in line with market expectations. The December export volume brought the shipment in the calendar year of 2014 to 1.69 million tonnes (28.17 million 60-kg bags), up 29.7 percent from last year, data from the General Statistics Office show.
The office said the country exported 84,000 tonnes in November, below an earlier projection of 95,000 tonnes, without giving any reason. Traders have projected December's export volume at 120,000-150,000 tonnes.
