HYDERABAD: The election authorities have finalized the polling scheme for Hyderabad district where 850 polling stations will be set up for general election 2088 for 1,049,586 registered voters.

The district consists of three constituencies of the National Assembly and six of the Sindh Assembly.

According to details, 225 polling stations including 120 combined, 58 male and 57 female will be set up in NA 225, 287 polling stations including 7 combined, 148 male and 132 female in NA 226 and 328 polling stations including 1 combined, 175 male and 152 female in NA 227.

There will be 731 polling booths with 387 for male and 344 for female voters in NA 225, 842 polling booths with 467 for male and 375 for female voters in NA 226 and 834 polling booths with 470 for male and 364 for female voters in NA 227.

The number of registered voters in NA 225 is 303,478 including 161,633 male and 141,845 female, in NA 226 is 374,082 including 207,364 male and 166,718 female and in NA 227 is 372,026 including 210,375 male and 161,651 female.

Similarly, the PS 62 constituency will have 103 polling stations including 22 combined, 41 male and 40 female, PS 63, 124 including 90 combined, 17 male and 17 female, PS 64, 139 including 14 combined, 67 male and 58 female, PS 65, 156 including 1 combined, 81 male and 74 female, PS 66, 191 including 101 male and 90 female and PS 67, 137 including 1 combined, 74 male and 62 female.

Some 334 polling booths with 176 for male and 158 for female voters will be set up in PS 62, 371 polling booths with 197 for male and 174 for female voters in PS 63, 403 polling booths with 227 for male and 176 for female voters in PS 64, 465 polling booths with 254 for male and 211 for female voters in PS 65, 470 polling booths with 262 for male and 208 for female voters in PS 66 and 364 polling booths with 208 for male and 156 for female voters in PS 67.

As many as 132,864 voters including 70,067 male and 62,797 female are registered in PS 62, 160,241 including 85,990 male and 74251 female in PS 63, 170,540 including 96,247 male and 74,293 female in PS 64, 213,915 including 116,693 male and 97,222 female in PS 65, 210,308 including 116,574 male and 93,734 female in PS 66 and 161,718 including 93,801 male and 67,917 female in PS 67.
