The University of Peshawar (UoP) and its affiliated institutions on Sunday extended the winter vacations for further three days according to revise scheduled the universities will be reopened on January 01, instead of December 29. According to spokesman of University of Peshawar, tight security arrangement has been put in place to avert any untoward incident. An important meeting regarding security situation has been convened for Monday to discuss security arrangements for the university.
Responsibilities have been handed over to quick response force for dealing terrorism related cases inside the campus.
