KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has taken notice of the Timergara accident and directed district administration for conducting complete investigation for identifying the causes, responsible officials or organisations of the accident and presenting of report to him as soon as possible. The chief minister has directed for adopting protective measures to prevent the occurrence of such accidents in future.
It has a worth to mention here that eight members of the same family killed when an alleged over-speeding motorcar went out of control of the driver near village Danawa near Timergara and fall into a road side well. Due to the darkness of the night the bodies could not be recovered.
The chief minister has expressed anguish and concern over the incident and said that in past the same well has resulted in several accidents resulting in the injuring of several persons.
But, no timely steps were taken. The chief minister clarified that in future no such negligence would be tolerated.
The chief minister also directed the closure of the deadly well and taking emergency measures for making it completely protected.
