Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Sunday congratulated Shahryar Khan and Fazil Jamili, newly- elected presidents of National Press Club Islamabad and Karachi Press Club, respectively. In his message, the minister also congratulated other office-bearers of both the press clubs elected on Saturday elections.
He said the government considered the media an important partner in development of the country and strengthening democracy in the country.
