The All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf has strongly reacted to the statement of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari against the party chief, saying that "Zardari's politics is soaked in the blood of her spouse and former Prime Minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto."
It is to be mentioned here that Zardari has recently accused the former president of conspiring in league of some elements to destabilise PPP's provincial government. APML Spokesperson Asia Ishaq said that the ruling party (PPP) was itself doing enough to destabilise its government.
Ishaq said the PPP leader rose to political power by stepping on the dead body of his late wife.
"Shaheed Benazir Bhutto's blood is the lifeline of Zardari's politics. It is soaked in her blood for he is the sole beneficiary of her assassination," she added.
She further said that racing horses was Zardari's obsession and not theirs, adding that APML was by no means interested in booting out the government.
"He who owns and runs the horses should better know about horse-trading," she added.
