KP Police hold security awareness workshop

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organised a security awareness workshop for the public and private educational institutions across the province here on Wednesday. The event was attended by Secretary Education, all District Education Officers of the province and representatives of private schools and colleges.
The participants were briefed by the Additional IG Operations about the security guidelines issued by the Operations branch of KP Police and were urged to ensure the implementation of those guidelines before the end of winter vacations. The Addl IG Operations also informed the participants about the progress made by KP Police in reviewing the security arrangements of educational institutions across the province.
On the occasion, the participants were also briefed about the salient features and benefits of the "One Click" SOS Alert Service that has been recently launched by KP Police for enhancing the security of educational institutions across the province. The participants were given live demonstration of the system and were briefed about its working and registration process. Speaking on the occasion, the Addl IG HQRs said KP Police was taking every possible measure to ensure the security of the citizens.
