Prices move both ways on grain market

Modest business was witnessed on the local grain market on Thursday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab shed Rs 125 to Rs 12750, Urad Burma, however, gained Rs 500 to Rs 10750, they added. On the grams side, yellow peas Russia picked up Rs 150 to Rs 4050 and the yellow peas Dall Russia also gained the same amount to Rs 4500, they added.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was up by Rs 30 to Rs 3070 and better type, however, lost Rs 50 to Rs 3150, they added. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new fell by Rs 25 to Rs 1425 and Rs 1475, they said.
