Chief of Jamaat-i-Islami Sirajul Haq has made it clear the government should take indiscriminate action against terrorists regardless of their political affiliation for restoration of lasting peace in the country. He stated this while talking to media persons on his arrival at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi here on Monday night.
JI Sindh Ameer Dr Mairaj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, JI Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, General Secretary Abdul Wahab and other JI leaders were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Siraj said that some anti-state elements were trying to use Peshawar incident against Islam and religious seminaries in order to produce anarchy in the country.
JI Chief further said that the government should evolve such law through which every criminal regardless of any political, caste and creed should bring into the court of law. "The law against terrorists and terrorism should implement at all on equal basis, adding that those who are involved in tarnishing the image of mosques and religious seminaries are working on western agenda", he added.-PR
