Five people, including two police constables, were killed in separate incidents of violence here on Wednesday. According to police and rescue sources, two policemen were killed by unknown persons in Sohrab Goth in the limits of Sohrab Goth police station. The bodies were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for postmortem examinations. The identities of deceased were ascertained as PC-21751 M. Hussain and PC-12698 Asghar.
A man, Zar Ali, son of Sher khan, was killed by unknown persons in Shah Latif Colony in the jurisdiction of Shah Latif police station. Police said initial investigations have suggested that the death was result of a personal enmity. The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
A man, Zameen Gul, son of Abdul Hameed, was gunned down by unidentified people in the jurisdictions of Ittehad Town police station. The body was rushed to the JPMC for postmortem examinations.
In another incident, Abdul Latif, son of Abdul Kareem, was killed by unknown persons in the jurisdiction of Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan police station. The body was shifted to ASH for autopsy.
