The Deputy Commander of Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Rear Admiral Ibrahim Nassir Maghlouth, called on Secretary of Defence Lieutenant-General Muhammad Alam Khattak (retired) and discussed defence collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The Secretary Defence appreciated the continued participation in Nasim Al-Bhar exercises and highlighted that engagements of such a type will help in cementing brotherly relations not only between the two navies but also between the two countries.
Both sides also showed the interest in expanding military training and exercises. Saudi Arabia has participated in AMAN exercises and Pakistan hopes that Saudi Arabia will participate in AMAN-15 as well.
The Saudi defence official appreciated the skill and expertise of the Pakistan Navy and regarded the AMAN exercises as one of the key exercise.
He also supported Pakistan's endeavor for attaining peace and security in the region.
He termed the Pakistan armed forces as highly professional and best training force due to their contribution in the war on terror. The Secretary Defence during the meeting expressed satisfaction over fruitful cooperation between the two navies and appreciated the growing scope of cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Upon his arrival, the distinguished guest was received by the Secretary Defence.
