Two doctors gunned down in Karachi

Seven people including two doctors were gunned down in separate incidents of targeted killing in various parts of the city on Saturday night. According to police, a doctor lost his life when unknown gunmen showed up at a clinic and opened fire on him in Paposh Nagar area of Nazimabad. In a similar incident, armed assailants shot and killed one more doctor in Anarkali Bazar, another area of Nazimabad.
The incidents caused fear among the area residents, as shops and businesses were also closed down. In the third incident, unidentified attackers opened fire on a shop in Gulberg area, killing a man. Later, bodies of all the deceased were taken to a nearby hospital for post mortems examination.
