Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples' Party and former President Asif Ali Zardari has condoled over the martyrdom of valiant police officials who lost their lives fighting dacoits in Mirpurkhas on Saturday night. Former president Asif Ali Zardari spoke to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on telephone and expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of police officers died during gun battle with dacoits in Mirpurkhas.
He paid rich tributes to brave policemen who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. On the instruction of Asif Ali Zardari, the Chief Minister Sindh announced 10 million rupees in compensation to the families of each police official. Zardari also prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the deceased soul in eternal peace and grant of strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
