A man was killed while another was injured in separate incidents of violence here on Monday. According to police and rescue sources, Rahem Shah, 30, son of Zahir Shah was shot and killed by unidentified dacoits on resistance during a robbery bid near Malang Hotel in the limits of Site Area police station. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem examinations.
Meanwhile, a man identified as Abdul Aziz Hassan son of Ali Muhammad Hassan was shot and injured by unknown persons near Muhammadi Sweet Sindhi Hotel in Liaqatabad, in the jurisdiction of Liaqatabad police station. The injured was rushed to ASH for treatment.
