An anti terrorism court here on Wednesday sent four suspects on physical remand involved in attacking participants of a candle-vigil held to mark fourth anniversary of slain governor Salman Taseer. Gulberg police produced the suspects Iftikhar, Furqanul Haq, Wazir Ali and Naveed before the court and sought their physical remand to complete investigation.
The investigating officer stated that the suspects had attacked the peaceful participants of the candle-vigil at Liberty Chowk and caused a serious harassment. The court granting six-day physical remand of the suspects, directed the police to complete investigation by next hearing.
