The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani has suspended SHO Police Station City Mansehra, Investigation Officer and Additional SHO on faulty investigation and ordered departmental inquiry against them. According to details a citizen of Mansehra has complained to the IGP about the faulty investigation of SHO, investigation officer and additional SHO of police station city Mansehra in a murder case.
The IGP checked this complaint through senior police officers of Mansehra, who in their report termed the complaint based on facts. The IGP in light of the report of senior police officers of Mansehra has suspended SHO Raja Aftab Ahmad, investigation officer Gul Muhammad Khan and Additional SHO Khushal Khan with immediate effect and further ordered departmental inquiry against them. The IGP directed the RPO Hazara to complete departmental inquiry in the case and submit his report on 2nd February so that further action could be taken against the defaulter police officers.
