Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan has appointed Professor Dr Abida Tahirani as Vice Chancellor of Sindh University and Dr Akhter Baloch as Vice Chancellor of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari for four years on the recommendation of the Sindh government.
According to a statement here on Thursday, Professor Dr Abida Tahirani and Dr Akhter Baloch called on Governor Sindh separately at the Governor House on Thursday evening.
The Governor expressed the hope that both the Vice Chancellors would pay attention to research work in their respective universities.
