Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Hidayat ur Rehman visited Afghanistan yesterday and met his counterparts across the border. Representatives of Afghan Border Police and ISAF were also present during the meeting. Matters related to border security came under discussion, said an ISPR press release issued here on Monday. During the meeting, ways and means were also discussed to further enhance the existing border co-ordination mechanism.
Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Nasir Khan Janjua is also scheduled to visit Afghanistan on Wednesday.
