President Mamnoon Hussain approved Prime Minister Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's advice for 10 percent increase in the pay and allowance of the Judges of Superior Courts. An ad-hoc relief allowance 10 percent of basic pay has been given to all civil servants and members of Armed Forces by the Government w. e. f. July 1, 2014. However, no relief has been allowed to the judges of the superior courts as they do not fall in the definition of civil servants.
The President approved the Prime Minister's advice for the summoning of the Senate on Friday, January 30, at 10:00am. The President approved the Prime Minister's advice for the appointment of Imran Aziz Khan, Advocate as Deputy Attorney General at Lahore. The President also approved the Prime Minister's advice for dispensing with the services of Dr Syed Muhammad Anwar, Deputy Attorney General-IV, Islamabad / Rawalpindi.-PR
