Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in the ongoing search and strike operation throughout the province against criminals and anti-social elements has rounded 246 suspects and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition. During the last two days the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in the operation conducted in different parts of the province recovered 79 arms and ammunition of different kind and 1132 rounds of different bore.
During the operation 873 houses and 499 hotels were checked and 38 cases were registered against the violators. During snap checking on 275 check points, 285 suspects were held and recovered 10 arms of different kind and 130 cartridges of different bore.
During action against illegal Afghans a total of 192 persons were detained on violation and 66 cases were registered against them. Security inspections of 2153 educational institution were also carried out and 20371 various institutions were advised to further beef up security arrangements.
