Pakistan Muslim League-N Balochistan chapter and Pashtoonkhawa Milli Awami Party announced their joint candidates for the offices of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation, respectively. PML-N Balochistan General Secretary, Nasibullah Bazai and PkMAP Balochistan President, Usman Kakar in a news conference at Quetta Press Club, here Tuesday said that the both parties have decided to introduce joint candidates for the offices of Mayor and Deputy Mayor Quetta Metropolitan Corporation.
"Our senior leadership decided to jointly contest the elections for Mayor and Deputy Mayor Quetta, therefore, Dr Kalimullah of PkMAP will be joint candidate for the office of Mayor and Younus Baloch of PML-N for the office of Deputy Mayor Quetta Metropolitan Corporation, respectively," they said. They said that the central leadership of allied parties including PML-N, PkMAP and National Party held meeting in Islamabad and took this decision.
