Psychological training workshop for teachers held

Community Research and Development Organisation (CRDO) organized two, two-day training workshops for Psychological First-Aid for the teachers of public sector schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Besides, 75 teachers, community volunteers also attended the training.
The purpose of the workshops was the rising of the morale of teachers in wake of Army Public School (APS) tragedy, capacity building for meeting such incidents in future and creation of awareness in both children and their parents in this regard. The participants of the training appreciated the arranging of such workshops and stressed need for extending it to more teachers. Similarly, they also proposed the arranging of training workshops in first-aid. Chief Executive, CRDO, Imran Inam and Director (Program), Dr Mujeeb-ur-Rehman gave training lecturers to the participants.
