Bears retuned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday where losers outclassed gainers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 48.70 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,009.14 to 3,960.44 points. The overall turnover amounted to 168,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 33,500 shares.
Total 148 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (64) closed in negative territory, 84 closed in positive territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 100,000 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 50,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 5,000 shares.
