Moong prices higher on the local grain market on Saturday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab gained Rs 175 to Rs 12500, Gur drifted lower by Rs 500 to Rs 5500 and Rs 6000, Moong Afghan picked up Rs 225 to Rs 13000, Masoor Cahada, however, lost Rs 200 to Rs 900 and Rs 9400, Masoor Dall Canada, however, rose by Rs 300 to Rs 11100 and Rs 11300 and wheat new Bardan shed Rs 35 to Rs 3290, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type slipped by Rs 5 to Rs 1375, the best quality picked up the same amount to Rs 1425, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams and rice sector, they said.
