Profit rates of National Savings cut

The Central Directorate of National Savings has revised profit rates for different savings schemes from February 1, 2015. In this regard, Central Directorate of National Savings has updated profit rates on its website.
Defence Savings Certificate rate has been brought down from 11.08 percent to 9.50 percent; Special Savings Certificates (Registered) from 9.60 percent to 8.20 percent; Regular Income Certificates from 10.15 percent to 8.952 percent; Bahbood Savings Certificates from 12.72 percent to 11.28 percent and profit rate of Savings Account is now 4.75 percent.
