Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that their meeting with former president Pervez Musharraf on Thursday was a 'routine affair'. Talking to media, he said that the 'storm of corruption' in Sindh needed to be stopped immediately. Talking to media after meeting with PML-F chief Pir Pagara at his residence, he said MQM wanted solution to problems being faced by people of Sindh.
"We have come to Pir Pagara to discuss ways to play the role of effective opposition in Sindh," he commented. To a question regarding the ex-military ruler, he said MQM had good relations with Musharraf. "We discussed the current political scenario with the former president," he added.
