The Consulate General of Kingdom of Morocco in association with Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited organised Moroccan Cultural and Food Festival at a local hotel. The festival was inaugurated by Lieutenant General Haroon Aslam (Retd), CE and MD Fauji Fertilizer.
The purpose of the event is to promote Moroccan culture and cuisine in Pakistan. A fashion show also held where Pakistani models showcased Moroccan national dresses designed by Moroccan fashion designer Soumia Khadiri. On the occasion, the renowned Moroccan singer Hayat Al Alaoui sang famous Arabic songs including a Pakistani national song "Ye Watan Tumhara Hai" in Urdu. A large number of people from all walks of life attended the event.-PR
