Resolving tenants' problems: Comprehensive action plan in final stages: minister

Provincial Minister for Zakat & Usher Malik Nadeem Kamran has said that progress has been made in the resolution of problems of tenants and a comprehensive action plan is in the final stages in this regard. He said this while presiding over a special meeting convened in connection with resolution of problems of tenants at Board of Revenue, here on Friday.
Senior Member Board of Revenue Nadeem Ashraf, Secretary Livestock & Dairy Development Naseem Sadiq, Commissioner Sahiwal Sohail Shahzad, Regional Police Officer Sahiwal Faisal Shahkar, Member Colonies Muzafar Mehmood, DPO Okara Muhammad Faisal Rana, Deputy Secretary Agriculture Nadeem Khalid and other officers attended the meeting. The Minister directed all those DCOs where tenants are facing more problems to hold meetings with them within three days and submit reports in the light of their proposals for resolving their problems.
Expressing strong indignation over not sending data of land record by commissioners has directed to compile data in a day. He has set up a committee comprising Secretary Colonies and Director Land who will ensure collection of reports from commissioners. The Provincial Minister also directed to compare the record of Agriculture Research, Livestock, Seed Corporation, other farms and tenants with the record of Revenue Department and submit a report in this regard.
