Most of the commodities tended lower on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab lost Rs 150 to Rs 12125, Moong Afghan tended lower, shedding Rs 125 to Rs 12625 due to easy supply position, they said. Masoor Canada (low type) was sharply down by Rs 400 to Rs 8600 and best quality of same item shed Rs 200 to Rs 9200, Masoor Dall Canada (inferior variety) shed Rs 200 to Rs 10800 and the fine quality fell by Rs 100 to Rs 11200, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type shed Rs 50 to Rs 2825 while the best quality held the overnight level at Rs 2900, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams and seeds sectors, they added.
